Converting Audio with SceneAudio AI

Make sure to have a very clean recording of your audio with no background noise. This can cause odd glitches. Try the new line by line SceneAudio for more precise line readings.

After saving your SceneAudio you'll see the conversion screen with a dropdown menu with 16 voices to choose from. You can play short audio clips to sample the quality and type of voice. *

Why only one AI voice per Audition?

At Slatable, we’re committed to helping you submit self tapes that meet professional industry standards. In a traditional in-room audition—or self tape—you’d have just one reader. To keep your audition authentic and focused solely on your performance, we allow only one AI voice per audition.

When you convert audio your accent will be matched so you can ignore any accents in the samples.

After you've tapped the voice you want to use tap Convert Audio.

Delete Converted Audio

Tap the trash icon and choose to delete just the converted audio, so you can choose another voice, or all audio, if you need to start from scratch.

Playing original audio

If you decide not to use the converted audio you can toggle the switch back to the original audio you either recorded or imported.
